We had an amazing time on our recent Discovery VIP Panorama Tour of Gran Canaria.

Driving up through the whole interior of this breathtaking island, we were surrounded by stunning views of the varying dramatic landscapes, from the volcanic south to the lush green rainforests of the north. Each of the picturesque villages we stopped off at had its own charm, including Artenara with its fascinating cave houses.

We were blessed to have the wonderful Jose as our driver and tour guide. Not only was he great fun, kind, friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the island, but he played the best singalong tunes during the road trip!

Great value for money!
I've been on one of these tours quite a while ago..11 years ago I believe with zig zag.
The route has changed a little, it used to be out to the centre of the island with a lake area stop after a hefty climb, a stop at a place that does great mango juice (restaurante casa fernando in Soria) and then a short off road stint with a stop next to a cactus fruit plantation.
Its a different route nowadays with a much longer off road stint across some spectacular scenery (Ayagaures Dam to Fataga area I believe) with a visit for a sales pitch at an aloe vera plantation. I don't resent it at all, the economy needs tourism like this and the sales pitch is very amusing- yes Miguel I mean you!
The look on the tourists faces when they drank that aloe concotion was priceless :)
My eldest son swigged it down and deadpanned  'Not bad actually...' Got even more laughter at a stunned Miguel.
Of course he was trolling him, he probably threw up in the toilet shortly afterwards.
Some of the stuff there might appeal to some people perhaps, theres no pressure.
Then off to a cafe in fataga for a 15 euro buffet (fairly simple stuff like tuna/chicken/salad etc) before a viewspot and then ride back for dropoff.
I feel sorry for my driver as he didn't speak much English but he made a hell of an effort using his google translate app and kept asking if my sons were OK...one of them was out clubbing far too late the night before and I didn't know how to explain it so I had to constantly reassure him that all was well despite one of my sons nodding off even on the off road section :)
Rest assured they enjoyed it and were dumb struck by the scenery. They are all older lads now anyway, early 20's so they don't get worried about off roading.
Tour was on 2nd July 2024.
Thank you ALL staff involved for a great time at a decent price.

Can not recommend enough. I usually spend my holidays by the pool sunbathing but we decided to try something different.

I am so so glad we did! The tour is packed with information, the views are breathtaking and our tour guide and driver Paco was the loveliest, happiest and funniest man. Honestly an experience we will never forget.

Wir hatten eine unglaublich schöne Panorama Tour auf Gran Canaria. Unser Tour Guide Kevin zeigte uns die schönsten Plätze der Insel. Mit seinem wahnsinnig großen Wissen über Land und Leute und seine sympathische, lustige Art wurde es ein unvergesslicher Ausflug.  Das war ganz großes Kino!!!

I loved this tour. Highly recommend to all visitors. It's shows the difference between South and North of the island. Paul was our guide, he is amazing and Kevin who was in the other car made my day😊 Do not miss out.
